The Sun Risers Club and Sun Setters Club
Our Before and After School Clubs are run by school staff and Premier Education Coaches, many of whom also have roles in school during the day. In this way we are able to offer consistency and continuity of provision, as the staff and children know each other well and share the same expectations as during the school day.
Although both clubs are run from Chennestone, spaces are open to school age pupils from either school. A walking bus will run from Chennestone to Beauclerc at 8.30 am and in the reverse direction at 3.15 pm.
Our school clubs are committed to providing:
- A positive start and finish to the children’s day
- A safe environment, where children feel valued and welcomed
- Staff who are qualified and committed to the school ethos
A schedule of exciting and varied activities are devised for the clubs. Children can join in with the planned activities or take time to do their home learning.
Wraparound care is very flexible and reasonably priced. However, a limit of 30 places and a need to plan our staffing levels means that places must be booked in advance. In order to book a place, parents/ carers must have access to Scopay and to have a credit balance available.
No food is provided at Sun Risers, but children are welcome to bring breakfast snacks with them if it helps their early mornings run more smoothly. At Sun Setters, all children have access to a choice of light snacks, such as freshly made mini sandwiches, salad items and fruit or yoghurt tubes.
Parents wishing to use The Sun Risers Club and/or Sun Setters Club are asked to carefully read the information, terms and conditions in the booklet below, which is reviewed annually. There may be occasions when changes to terms and conditions occur prior to the annual review, parents will be notified of any material changes in writing and may be asked to sign and return an acknowledgement.
Beauclerc and Chennestone is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. To achieve our commitment, we will ensure continuous improvement and development of robust Safeguarding processes and procedures that promote a culture of Safeguarding amongst our staff and volunteers.
