Week 1 

We have had a lovely first week back for our final half term at Beauclerc. 

In Science, we will be learning all about micro-habitats and food chains. We started by looking at what micro-habitats can be found in our homes. The children shared lots of exciting animals they have found nesting in their homes, including bats and mice!

In English, we have been learning about biographies. We have been reading a biography about Tom Daley to learn about the features. Today, the children voted to create a class biography about England and Arsenal footballer Leah Williamson. They used the Chromebooks to research some key facts to include. 

In Maths, we have been learning about statistics. We have created tally charts, tables, block diagrams and pictograms. We have enjoyed collecting information and representing it in different ways. 

In History, we will be learning all about how schools have changed since the Victorian era. The children started by recapping chronology and timelines. They created a timeline of key events in their life. 

Next week, we will be taking part in our Secret Agent Training (SATS) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.
