Safeguarding
At Beauclerc Infant and Nursery School we take safeguarding and child protection very seriously. We believe it is everyone's responsibility to keep children safe from harm. All members of staff including teaching and support staff receive annual training and top up training at regular intervals throughout the year. If at any time you have a concern for a child you can contact the school office and ask to speak a member of our Designated Safeguarding Team.
Mrs H Mulhall (DHT) and Mrs K Duddy (AHT) are our Designated Safeguarding Leads
The other members of the Safeguarding Team are;

Mrs J Brown Phase Leader EYFS
Miss S Heron Phase Leader Key Stage 1

Vetting Procedures:
All members on the school staff have to have a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) in order to work in school. This is regardless of the employee’s role, or amount of contact they have with children. In addition, all volunteers and anybody else who has regular contact with children are checked. Visitors to the school either provide their own DBS on arrival or are members of professional bodies who are registered by their employer, such as OFSTED inspectors or Local Authority Employees who have a DBS through their own professional body.
