Would you like to go on a journey?
This half term Bumblebee class embarked on a magical journey across the globe! We have been exploring all corners of the Earth, from right here in charming England to the vibrant animals of Africa, the icy realms of the Arctic and Antarctica, and even to the bustling festivities in China during the Lunar New Year. Our travels didn't stop there; we ventured into the rich rainforests of South America and flew over to the sun-kissed lands of Australia.
In Mathematics, our little adventurers climbed the peaks of learning by discovering fascinating patterns and mastering the mighty numbers 1 and 2. We also became detectives, measuring height and weighing exciting objects around us.
Our journey was made even more exciting with special workshops! We soaked music from around the world with Earth Song's music workshop and dove into the depths of creativity with Perform's under the sea acting experience. Plus, we learned all about healthy living in a fun and interactive way!
This week we explored England and read ‘Naughty Bus’. We played with the story and explored the language it used. We spoke about Sunbury, and about how we would get into London. We then looked at London landmarks. We also celebrated the New Year, and spoke about what we would like to get better at this year.
Week 2 - Investigating what animals that live in the continent of Africa and exploring patterns.

Week 3 – Number 1 hunt, Poles Apart, and learning about the Arctic and Antarctica.
Week 4 –Exploring China, and the number 2!
Under the Sea drama workshop!
Week 5 – Being builders, doctors, chefs, hair dressers, retail staff and teachers! While also exploring the South American rainforest, making passports to explore the world, and weighing in maths.
Week 6 - Australia, measuring height, internet safety, and the healthy living workshop!
