Shall we blast off in a rocket to space?
This term, Bumblebee Class has been on an exciting journey exploring the wonders of space! Our young astronauts have delved into the mysteries of the solar system, discovering planets and stars through captivating books and imaginative play.
In Mathematics, we've been having fun with numbers, learning to count and represent numbers 1-5. Our classroom has been buzzing with excitement as we've celebrated a variety of special days. From flipping pancakes on Pancake Day and dressing up for World Book Day to the wonders of Science Week, each day has been an adventure. We also honoured St Patrick's Day, Mother’s Day, Eid, and Easter with crafts and stories.
Not forgetting our green fingers, we've been busy planting potatoes, getting ready for our next exciting topic. Join us as we continue to explore and learn - who knows where Bumblebee Class will go next!
The class enjoyed starting their new topic by reading ‘Whatever Next’, and building their own rocket. In mathematics we recapped pattern and measuring. This week we started phonics by learning /m/ and /a/.
