Do you know how they grow?
This term, our curious young learners in Bumblebee Class have been buzzing with activities under the theme, "Do you know how they grow?" The children embarked on an enchanting journey of discovering the wonders of nature, starting with the fascinating life cycle of butterflies. With eyes wide in wonder, they watched as our five caterpillars transformed and eventually fluttered away as beautiful butterflies.
Our term has been filled with engaging adventures that inspire and educate. We kicked off with our sponsored event, 'The Inspirational Mile!', encouraging our little ones to get active while raising money for the school. In celebration of VE Day, we remembered the past with heartfelt activities.
Our science workshop was a hit, as the children rolled up their sleeves to make squishy slime and even held some real-life mini beasts, sparking curiosity and giggles all around. The excitement continued with a thrilling scooter workshop, where balance and fun went hand in hand.
We wrapped up the half term with a lively celebration of World Bee Day. Our buzzing activities included making scrumptious honey sandwiches and dressing up as bees, adding a sweet touch to our learning about these important little creatures.
