School Mission Statement
To impart to all children an enthusiasm for learning and achievement within a supportive and caring school community, resulting in every child achieving his/her full potential.
Principal Aim
Our Principal aim is to provide a caring, stimulating learning and social environment in which all children can flourish.
General Principals
- The school's caring, challenging and supportive environment will help to raise children's self esteem and encourage each child's development as a "whole person"
- Together with the family and community the school will aim to develop in children an awareness of and respect for the needs of others and their environment.
- We aim to deliver a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum with a commitment to high standards in all Key Stage 1 subjects and in the Early Year's curriculum.
- As a school we aim and search for excellence, operating a discipline policy with a firm and consistent approach shared by the entire school community.
- The Home-School partnership is very important. We welcome and value parental support and involvement. We aim to ensure effective channels of communication between home and school at all times.
OUR VISION
We share a common belief that Beauclerc Infant School reflects a clear sense of purpose which is made explicit and is practised by everyone involved with the school. We create an environment which is rich and stimulating, where the confidence of young children is nurtured. We encourage children to care for each other and their school. We firmly believe that children learn most effectively when they are actively involved in all learning situations. We consider carefully the context of the children's learning experiences to ensure that they are relevant and purposeful to the child. Our work arises directly from first hand experience giving them true understanding of the world around them. We recognise the importance of literacy and Numeracy skills and aim to enable children to independently access information.
Everyone who works in our school is valued as an individual. Staff work as a team, sharing expertise and skills, planning and reviewing curriculum provision, resources and policies in order to create a coherent learning programme.
